At Apollo Tyres, Environment is a key enabler for realising the Company’s purpose to provide Sustainable Mobility solutions. We have been working to develop climate adaptive operations focussing on low carbon, water use efficiency and waste consciousness. We are committed to be Net Zero by 2050. The Environment targets are mentioned below:

1. Reducing Scope 1 emission intensity by 25% in FY26 compared to baseline year FY20.
2. Reducing Scope 2 emission intensity by 35% in FY26 compared to baseline year FY20*.
3. Sourcing 50% of total electrical power usage from Renewable sources by FY30.
4. Improving water withdrawal intensity by 40% in FY30 compared to baseline year FY19.
5. Committed to achieving Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) across all factory units by 2030, in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.

Protecting health and safety remains cardinal for the Company. 

We are drawing a decarbonisation strategy for the India and Europe regions developing short term targets for FY 26 and FY30. We are committed to ‘Achieving Well-being with Always Healthy & Absolute Safety’, by driving value-based health and safety culture across Apollo One Family. This shall be achieved by nurturing an Apollo Safe Way ecosystem where everyone practices healthy and safe ways of living across home, road and work every day. We have put in place a vision, mission and objectives on Health & Safety which are integrated across the operations and business processes.
