I am Geetaben S. Parmar from Gulabpura, Vadodara, Gujarat. We had a earning of about Rs. 3000/PM to cater a family of 7 members, living in a 'Kuccha' house. To support my husband who was the sole breadwinner. I started working as an agri labourer for Rs 20 a day however our financial condition further deteriorated. 

SOLUTUMO TOUL 

In 2013, I joined a self-help group promoted by Apollo Tyres Foundation. ATF provided us with Income Generation trainings, further supporting me to start my own business. I started a flour mill after availing cash credit of Rs 1 lakh from the bank. The success from the unit enabled me to set a general store, catering business and also started farm-based activities. 

My monthly income has improved up to Rs 20,000. We feel grateful to ATF to make us empowered and become self-reliant..
