Grand Vredestein Event in Scotland

Grand Vredestein Event in Scotland

Spectacular launch of the Vredestein Quatrac 5 and Vredestein Snowtrac 5

June 26, 2014

Dutch tyre manufacturer Vredestein is introducing brand-new four-season and winter tyres – the Vredestein Quatrac 5 and Vredestein Snowtrac 5 – in Scotland this week. More than six hundred people from all over the world will attend this grand event in Edinburgh.

With the lavish launch in 2012 of the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti and Vredestein Sportrac 5 still fresh in the collective memory of the tyre industry, Vredestein has once again risen to the challenge of staging another stylish event, this time in midst of the beautiful and enchanting scenery of Scotland. More than six hundred international guests are expected in the Scottish capital this week to attend the launch of the four season tyre Vredestein Quatrac 5 and winter tyre Vredestein Snowtrac 5. The launch will feature photographs, film, video, music, the latest presentation technology and a driving experience under the motto ‘To Scotland with style’.

Presentation by a virtual host
The evening programme is scheduled to take place in Mansfield Traquair, a 130-year-old former church in the centre of Edinburgh. After an introduction by the Apollo Tyres’ management, a virtual host will take over the ceremony. This will occur via a new form of presentation using advanced audiovisual techniques shown to the audience on wide display screens of 38 metres. This will allow all the technological innovations of the two new tyres to be displayed in a unique way as the spectacular images captivate the audience. A concert by the famous string quartet eScala followed by a performance by a traditional Scottish Bagpipe band will round off the evening in grand style.

Driving experience through the Scottish highlands
Edinburgh is famous for frequently experiencing weather from all four seasons in one day. This alone makes for a perfect setting for the all season Vredestein Quatrac 5. Combined with the beauty of the Scottish highlands, it will ensure a lovely backdrop for the In Style Concept by Vredestein. To ensure guests enjoy the scenery and the high performance tyres, Vredestein has sixty cars ready for test rides. This will provide an unforgettable tour of the magical Scottish landscape, including two stops at one of the many historical estates which have deservedly made the countryside famous.

The new winter tyre Vredestein Snowtrac 5 is the successor to the acclaimed Vredestein Snowtrac 3. The four-season tyre Vredestein Quatrac 5 satisfies all the criteria required to emulate, and surpass, the success of its predecessor, the Vredestein Quatrac 3. These two new products and this unique event allow Vredestein to clearly position itself as a leader in high-quality tyres for motorists who place high demands on aspects of driving such as safety, comfort, driveability and durability.
